Planning Meeting (March 2016)

Notes from the  March meeting for the 2017 Grad Night Event:  Monday, March 7 at 6:30pm in the SHS Media Center.

Fundraising total: $10,100.52.  Thank you to everyone who has participated and assisted with the fundraising events so our kids can have a fun, safe Graduation Night.  

Review of Bingo Night
  • Betsy did an awesome job of leading this event.
  • Raised over $4000 
    • $1735 Golf and Gov't Camp raffles
    • $1475 Bingo Sales
    • $1246 50/50 Raffles
  • Had 10 juniors helping out with the event.
Dine out nights
  • 3/16 Jersey MIkes
  • 3/29 MOD Pizza
  • 4/15 Panda
  • 4/26 Generations
  • The Office (possible)
Events
  • 4/1 Growler House (5-8pm) ($20/person for meal and beer tasting from two breweries.)
  • 4/12 503 Uncorked with Silpada  (5:30 to 8:30pm)
  • End of April 50/50 raffle at spring play.  Looking into possibility of holding raffle on one night each week (end of April)
  • April Small group book swap.  In this personal fundraiser, you invite your friends, have a small cover charge, bring ~5 books, have some refreshments and a little raffle and head home with some new-to-you books.
  • May 21 Trivia night at Elks.  Betsy has beer donated for the event.  Similar setup to Bingo night..
  • Mid-June Car Wash @Kohl's (tentatively during Cruisin' Sherwood)
  • Late summer. possible event at Rallison Cellars
Butter Braids
22 participants.  Grossed $3700 and made $1537 profit.
